여러분, 안녕하세요!
한국어 선생님 김현경입니다. 저는 학생들과 처음 수업을 할 때, 여러분은 한국어를 왜 배우냐고 질문을 합니다. 그럼 어떤 학생들은 한국에 계시는 할머니, 할아버지와 대화를 하기 위해서 배운다고 하고, 또 어떤 학생들은 부모님이 시켜서 배운다고 하죠. ^^ 이유가 어떻게 됐든 한국어를 배운다는 건, 앞으로 여러분에게 많은 도움이 되는 일이 틀림 없습니다. 현재 한국어는 세계에서 각광 받는 언어 중 하나로, 배우기 쉽고 사용하기 유용한 언어입니다. 한국 속담에 시작이 반이라는 말이 있듯, 이제 시작을 했으니 두려워 하지 말고, 저와 같이 즐겁게 한국어를 공부할 수 있기를 기대해 봅니다!
Hello everyone!
My name is a Korean teacher, Hyun-kyung Kim. I am glad to teach Korean at Walnut Creek Korean School.
When I have my first class with students, I ask my students, why they want to learn Korean. Some students say, they want to communicate with their grandparents in Korea, and some students say, their parents tell them to do it. ^^
For whatever reason, learning Korean as a bilingual language will help you a lot in the future. Currently, Korean is one of the hottest languages in the world, and it is easy to learn and useful. There is a saying in Korean that it is difficult to start, but starting is half the battle. I hope I can see you in my class and learn Korean together!
